print Company’s history

In 1929, gas bottling plant at Chylońska street in Gdynia received a license to trade fuel. It was one of the first fuel trading licences in Poland! Now, Polski Gaz' branch has already moved its seat from Gdynia, but we can still be proud of a long historical tradition of our facility.

Polski Gaz S.A. is functioning in the current form of organization since 2001, when the company of DEC-GAZ consolidated with several other, smaller entities. During this time, we constantly developed our transloading terminal in Sosnowiec - at the moment the largest terminal in the Central and Eastern Europe, which handling capacity reaches 1500 tonnes per day. Currently in the terminal in Sosnowiec some new investment is made, to increase its handling capacity  even more. Polski Gaz' Terminal in Sosnowiec earned the status of a place approved  by the Customs Office in Dąbrowa Górniczna, which allows us, as one of the few, to perform the transloading of gas in transit.

Polski Gaz branches located in Sosnowiec, Góra Kalwaria and Ugoszcz, with our fuel depots and warehouses throughout almost the entire country, make us able to deliver fuel to customers anywhere in Poland. Moreover, our divisions in Sosnowiec, Góra Kalwaria and Ugoszcz have the status of tax warehouses. Ten-year continuous presence in the Polish energy market allows us to serve our customers with our best knowledge and experience.
